Roman was born in Ukraine, settled in Fredericton, NB in 2022. He excels at crafting tailored solutions and providing invaluable information to support those people who have connected with Utimus. His passion lies in facilitating positive change, helping individuals and organizations tackle unique challenges. His dedication lies in empowering others to reach their potential, and Utimus is a perfect fit, as he builds new opportunities for newly arrived Canadians.
Sadiq, a linguist and cultural advisor, served 5 years in the Canadian armed forces in Kandahar, Afghanistan, proficient in Pashto, Dari/Farsi, Urdu, and English. He holds a Computer Technician diploma from the Academy of Learning College, Toronto. In 2023, he joined the Utimus team as an Afghan mentor and communicator, helping newcomers find careers and providing support in their native language for program completion and job placement.
Meg is our Community Outreach & Relationship Manager. Meg holds a BFA from OCAD University, has been teaching mindfulness and movement since 2011, and is currently in graduate school studying psychodynamic psychotherapy, working with clients under clinical supervision. Fun fact: Meg has three rescue dogs and walks about 80kms per week (rain or shine).
Oksana, originally from Uzhhorod, Ukraine, found her second home in Canada in 2017, settling in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She excels in leading and organizing teams, creating an environment for individuals to thrive. She enjoys solving challenges with new technologies and finds immense satisfaction when team members and Utimus program participants achieve their goals and realize their dreams.
